How to RSVP
To RSVP please call 301-884-9833 or email
jmiller@mirdrag.com
to check on availability for your date. If your date is
available, and you would like to book your slot then click on the following
RSVP FORM
and send in with your payment to address at the top of this site. We
will contact you with confirmation once your payment is
received. If you have anyone coming with you and they would like a
lunch also be sure to include an extra $10 for their lunch.
Cancellations
Once you book
your date it is non-refundable. If you cannot make the seminar date you
signed up for, you will not be eligible for a refund or transfer to
another date, as you held a position on that date. We are very sorry about this,
but the expenses on these days are high. If you cannot attend your
seminar date, you may transfer it to a friend for that day so it doesn't
go to waste. Just notify us who is taking your place for that day at
jmiller@mirdrag.com
and we will
put them in your place. If you do not transfer it to someone else, and
you do not show up then regretfully your spot is gone.
Rainouts
In the event of a
rainout, Jason will give you an option to reschedule to another date or
receive a credit
MIROCK Events at MIR
The Fridays
before MIROCK events are no longer a part of the Streetbike Seminars.
The Fridays before MIROCK events at MIR will now be an open test session
from 9am-5pm with no limit on entries. The cost is now $100 per bike,
not per rider. You will not need to sign up, pay in advance, or RSVP
anymore for these Fridays. You can just show up and pay your $100 at the
track on that Friday to test. Once again, this is only on the Fridays
before MIROCK, not the dates listed above. There will be no more lunches
on the Fridays before MIROCK events, so be sure to bring your own. This
will make things easier on the MIROCK racers.
E-List
If you want to be placed on the
"Seminar E List" for dates, news,
and information please send

jmiller@mirdrag.com
and put "Seminar E List" in the subject line.

Questions & Answers
What safety gear do I need?
All riders in all seminars must have at least one year of general
motorcycle riding experience. Also, all riders must have leather jacket,
leather pants, SNELL approved full face helmet, leather gloves, and
boots.
Can I bring a friend or family?
Yes you can bring a friend or family member, and there is no charge for
them. However, if they wish to eat lunch the caterer charges $10 for
each friend or family member. Please let Jason know a head count in
advance, so the caterer is prepared. If you do not submit their payment
with your RSVP form we will not have enough lunch for them.
What safety equipment do I need?
You must have a full face SNELL approved helmet, full leathers, leather
gloves, and boots. You do not need a kill switch.
What bike am I going to ride?
Everyone brings their own bike,
after all that is the bike you want to learn how to go fast on right?
Can Jason teach me how to ride a bike?
No, that is not what these days are designed for, this is not a school.
Everyone must have at least one year of general riding experience. You
do not need any experience at the racetrack however. These days are for
riders to learn how to drag race or improve their current skills at the
dragstrip.
Is there anything I should do to my bike before I come?
That is
entirely up to you. You don’t have to do any mods to come to the
seminars. We do strongly recommend that all Hayabusa owners install the
“clutch mod” before coming.
Can I come early and camp at MIR?
Yes you may come early and camp
if you have a motorhome. We will knock on your door and even give you a
wake up call.
What time should I show up?
We recommend that everyone arrive at
8:30am. We start things off at 9:00am sharp and you don’t want to miss
introductions and the rider’s meeting.
Should I bring spare clutches?
There should be no need to bring
any. You will get an enormous amount of track time, however we try to
get riders to only make a few passes at a time to let the bike cool
down, so the clutches last. However, you can bring spare clutches if you
have the tools to install yourself.
Can I get an IHRA license while I am there?
Yes you can get your
IHRA license here, we even have all the forms here for you as well.
Sorry, we cannot do NHRA licences.
Can I ride more than one bike?
Yes each rider that is signed up
for the seminar can ride up to two bikes.
Does my bikes have to be street legal to attend?
No it doesn’t
have to be a Streetbike. However most of the seminars are geared towards
Streetbike skills.
I am a road racer, will these seminars help me get to first turn in
front of the pack?
We have had many road racers come to these seminars for help. And we
have had great reviews and helped many road racers get through that grid
quick and on the brakes at first turn quicker than ever before.
Can I bring a nitrous or turbo bike?
Yes you can. However, we do
not have a nitrous filling station available on seminar days, so bring
full bottles.
Do you have air and water available?
Yes we have plenty of air &
water locations.
Are we allowed to bring a video camera?
Absolutely, we even
encourage it! Take it back home and study some more!
What is the “Reaction time Seminar" about?
It helps
racers improve consistency on their reaction times. Jason Miller has
some trade secrets that he has learned through some of the best bracket
racers in the country and some of the best pro tree racers on the strip!
What is the “Timing System Seminar" about?
This seminar is a “must know” for all racers going down the track.
It explains, rollout, auto-start, time-outs, official procedures, and
ways to cut away a few hundredths from your 60’ time.
What is the “60’ & 330’ Seminar" about?
This seminar is definitely the most popular. It explains how to go
faster in the areas that count the most (the first 60 feet of the track
and the first 330 feet of the track). Jason Miller has professional
racers make exhibition passes as he narrates what to be watching for.
Also, Jason explains secret techniques used to really get your times
lower.
